  1. Get 8 long potatoes
  2. Make ready Lemon
  3. Get to taste Salt and pepper
  4. Get 1 tsp turmeric

  7. Take 1 tsp garlic salt
  8. Take 1 tbsp olive oil
  9. Take 1 cube butter

  1. Wash potatoes nicely. Hold it from one end thinly slice them way down making sure keeping the base strong.(not breaking it)
  2. Line a baking tray and keep potatoes on the tray, drizzle a bit of olive oil. Let cook in the oven for 20 mins at 180c
  3. Meanwhile combine olive oil, butter spices. Squeeze a lemon. Take out tray and brush it over those potatoes
  4. Bake for 30 mins, take out tray and repeat the brushing process.
  5. Put back the tray bake for another 10 mins or until potatoes are cooked and golden.
  6. Serve with choice of salad or dip. I served with guacamole
