  2. Get 1 small onion finely chopped
  3. Prepare 1 small tomato finely chopped

  7. Take 3-4 curry leaves
  8. Get 1 tsp roasted cumin powder
  9. Get 1 tsp garam masala powder

  12. Get 1/4 cup coriander leaves finely chopped
  13. Get as required Oil for cooking

Steps to make Couscous upma:

  1. First in a pot take about 2 cups water,add little salt and 1 tsp oil.When oil is getting hot,add couscous. Cook until couscous becomes soft. Turn off the gas and cover it. Keep this aside.
  2. In a pan take 2 tsp oil,add mustard seeds,curry leaves and dry red chilli.now add chopped onion,saute it for 2-3 minutes. Now add peas and tomatoes.Cook for 3-4 minutes. Now add roasted cumin powder,garam masala powder and salt. Mix all ingredients well.Now add cooked couscous.Add lemon juice. Mix all ingredients well. Turn off teh gas.Garnish with coriander leaves. Couscous upma is ready.Serve hot.
