The ingredients needed to make Hummus:

  1. Get 1 cup dry chickpeas
  2. Prepare 3 tbsp tahini (sesame paste)
  3. Prepare 1/2 lemon
  4. Get 2 cloves garlic
  5. Take 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions to make Hummus:

  1. Soak the chickpeas overnight in cool water.
  2. Drain the chickpeas and transfer to a pot. Cover with 5cm of water. Bring to a boil, then cook uncovered for about 45min-1h.
  3. Drain and transfer to a food processor/blender bowl. Add peeled and crashed cloves of garlic, tahini, squeezed out lemon juice, a pinch of salt and olive oil.
  4. Blend until you reach a smooth paste. Add more tahini/lemon juice/oil to adjust the flavour.
