  1. Make ready 700 gm breast chicken in medium size pieces
  2. Make ready 100 gm butter
  3. Take 4 green chilies slits
  4. Take 100 gm fresh cream
  5. Make ready 1 tablespoon ger garlic paste
  6. Take 1 teaspoon tandoori masala powder
  7. Get Salt as per taste
  8. Make ready 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
  9. Take 1/2 teaspoon garam masala powder
  10. Make ready 300 gm tomato puree (boiled and peeled)
  11. Make ready 1 teaspoon red chilli powder
  12. Take 4 green cardamom

  15. Get 1 tablespoon fresh chopped coriander leaves

Instructions to make Butter Chicken:

  1. In a mixing bowl, mix tandoori masala powder, red chilli powder, ger garlic paste and salt.
  2. Add the raw chicken pieces to the marinade and mix well. Keep it in the refrigerator overnight or minimum 6 hours. Heat half the quantity of butter in wok.
  3. Add green cardamom and mace and saute for 30sec.
  4. Pour tomato puree in wok and saute for 2-3 minutes. Add cumin powder and garam masala powder, mix well.
  5. Add the prepared chicken, remaining butter, fresh cream, sliced green chillies and crushed fenugreek leaves. Saute for 3-4 minutes and let the chicken cook. Cook till chicken is done.
  6. Take it in large bowl and garnish with coriander leaves - Serve hot with rice or naan.
