- Rinse and soak the rice in 2 cups of water for 20 minutes. Drain water after 20 mins.
- Set the cooker in gas to Saute heat 1/2 cup oil Add sliced onions and fry for 5-7 minutes or until the onions are lightly brown or caramelized. Take out the onions.
- Add 1 tablespoon ghee, cumin seeds, cardamom, cloves, black pepper, bay leaves. Cook for 30 seconds.
- Add curd then add chopped onions and all the veggies (carrots, green Beans,peas,potato and roasted paneer).
- Use 1/2 cup of water if needed. Add ger, garlic, turmeric, red chili powder, garam masala and 1 teaspoon of salt. mix well.Add mint, rice and 2 teaspoons salt. Add 2 cups of water. Mix well, making sure most of the rice is under water.on layer of rice sprinkal some biryani masala and food colour.
- Now repeat the process of layering one more time.
- Close the cooker lid. And open after the one whistle when cooker is cool completely.
