  3. Add milk, cream cheese (used flavored cream cheese for an extra kick, EX: jalapeño cream cheese), a pinch of salt and a dash of pepper to the pan with the vegetables. Stir often until cream cheese melts and sauce thickens. Add more milk or cream cheese if sauce is too thick or is not thick enough.
  4. When hot, serve over pasta with the cooked meat. (Sauce becomes even more flavorful when served the next day after the flavors have marinated, so leftovers are encouraged!)
