  12. Take 3/4 Tbsp Black Pepper
  13. Take 2 Dashes Celery Seed

  15. Make ready 1/2 Cup Quality Burgundy
  16. Get 2 Medium White Onions [rough chop]
  17. Prepare 1 Cup Celery [rinsed - 1chop]
  18. Prepare 1 1/2 Cups Carrots [rinsed - peeled 1chop]
  19. Get 5 Medium Idaho Potatoes [washed - peeled chopped into 1cubes]

  1. Heat thick bottomed pot and add oil.
  2. Coat rib with flour, salt and pepper mixture on all sides. Including sides.

  13. Chop your vegetables. Peel and chop your potatoes last. Otherwise, they’ll brown. If you do decide to chop them early, place them in a bowl fully covered in ice water.

  16. Add meat to pot.
  17. Add additional broth as needed. Simmer until carrots and potatoes are tender. About a half an hour. Your potatoes will absorb quite a bit of your orial fluids so know additional broth might be needed.
  18. Baguettes are a sturdy bread capable of holding up to a hot, heavy broth. Slice your pre-baked baguette bread into 4pieces, lightly coat with EVOO or butter and toast in the oven at 350° for 7 to 10 minutes. Or, until bread is crispy. You can also serve it fresh.
