The ingredients needed to make Khichuri:

  1. Get 1 cup Mung dal
  2. Take 1/2 cup Rice
  3. Prepare 1 potato,
  4. Take 1 carrot,
  5. Prepare few string beans,
  6. Prepare little cauliflower
  7. Get Little pumpkin
  8. Get All vegetables to be cut and washed
  9. Get Bay leaves, cinnamon stick -1/2"
  10. Prepare Cloves, cardamom
  11. Get Cumin powder, coriander powder,

  13. Take Garam masala powder
  14. Get Ghee
  15. Prepare Panch phoran (jeera, rai, methidana, kalonji, saunf)

Steps to make Khichuri:

  1. Roast mung dal till it is brown….keep aside
  2. In cooker, add ghee…add full garam masalas and panch phoran….add washed vegetables…
  3. Add dry masalas….add the roasted dal
  4. Add rice….add water and pressure cook for 3-4 whistles
  5. Serve hot
