- Take Cassava flour(Alabo or rogo)
- Prepare Sorghum(dawa)
- Take Edible potash(kanwa)

Instructions to make Danwake(dumplings):
- In a clean bowl,add rogo,and dawa together and grind into powder
- Soak edible potash in warm water,seive d rogo-dawa powder in another bowl,seive kuka and mix vigorously, add pinch of salt if desire and mix again
- Gradually add in the potash water and continue mixing until you get a soft sticky dough
- Place a pot on fire with water and allow to boil,using your fingertips mould d dough into d boiling water,cover and allow to cook for 15min
- Drain from fire and re-fresh in cold water to cool
- Fry onions in a hot oil,serve danwake and garnish with fresh onion and season maggi and yaji,you can also garnish with veggies
