- Make ready 400 g all purpose flour
- Take 250 g butter
- Make ready 1-1/2 cup sugar
- Take 1 egg

- In a clean bowl, cream butter and sugar till fluffy and white
- Add in egg and egg yolk, mix carefully
- Add in vanilla essence. Scrape side
- Add in flour and mix till dough is well formed
- Dust a surface with flour and knead the dough.
- Roll out dough to about 2cm high. Refigrate for atleast 2 hours and then cut to desired shape using cookie cutter.
- Bake at 120°c for about 12mins. Allow to cool then serve with hot coffee
