The ingredients needed to make Cranberry sauce:

  1. Get 350 grams Cranberry (fresh)
  2. Prepare 1 cup sugar Granulated
  3. Prepare 1 cup Water

  1. Bring the water and sugar to a boil in a saucepan
  2. Add in the cranberries and keep stirring gently
  3. While the whole mixture boils there will be a bit of tiny bursts going on, don’t be alarmed, that is the cranberries starting to cook and the skin breaking open
  4. Keep stirring and once you see that the skins have broken, start mashing the berries lightly
  5. Continue to do this till all the berries are mashed and you are left with a thick sauce. This takes about 15 minutes usually
  6. At this stage your cranberry sauce is ready!
  7. For those of you who dislike biting into the cranberries in the sauce, pass the sauce through a strainer. Press the fruit against the strainer with a spoon till only the skin is left in the strainer and all the pulp is gone through.
