- First of all wash rice and lentil properly.
- Now heat oil in cooker, add cumin seeds, mustard seeds, asfotida let them crackle, further add black pepper and cloves powder.
- Now add green chillies, ger and garlic paste saute for 2 minutes.
- Further add onion and saute for 2 to 3 minutes.
- Now add all the spices and rice, potatoes and lentil and saute for 2 1 minute. Now add water and let it be boil and close the lid.
- Cook till 2 to 3 whistle. A the your khichadi is ready to serve. Serve with curd.
