Steps to make Kathal ka kofta:

  1. First of all peeled off the kathal and then boil in cooker,wait for 5 whistle. After that strain it and mash it.
  2. Mean while in fryiny pan add little oil and put cashews and almonds, ger and garlic, chapped onion, garam masalas and at last tomatoes. Stir it till the onion and tomatoes becomes soft. No need to fry till becoming onion brown.
  3. After that remove from the gas and let it cool. Then make a paste in mixer jar.
  4. Now add three table spoon besan, half teaspoon turmeric, cumin and black pepper, and one teaspoon Kashmiri lal chilli powder, salt to taste. Mix them well and make a round ball.
  5. Take kadhai and heat the oil. Now put the ball one by one and do deep fry
  6. Again take oil in same kadhai and add whole cumin seeds,pinch of turmeric powder, chilli powder and kasuri methi. Let it crackle then add the paste which we already prepared. Add salt to taste and saute it till oils becomes visible.
  7. When masala is cooked then keep the balls in a bowl and pour the masalas over it and garnish with coriander leaves.
