  1. Take 2 cup Whole wheat flour/atta
  2. Prepare 1 cup Jaggery
  3. Take 1 tbsp Fennel seeds/saunf

  1. Put jaggery in hot water and stir till dissolved.
  2. In another bowl, add wheat flour, ghee, fennel seeds, salt and baking powder.
  3. Add the jaggery solution in it to form a batter of dropping consistency.
  4. Heat oil and add a tbsp of the batter over high heat.
  5. Lower the heat and then drop batter from spoon in oil without touching each other.
  6. Fry them turning once or twice till brown.
